At the National Pension Helpline, we’re thrilled to welcome you back and we hope you have been enjoying the recent good weather!

As the days get longer and warmer, we remain dedicated to keeping you well-informed with the latest pension updates.

As promised, we have started to dedicate more time to taxation, to help our readers navigate the complex Irish taxation system.

Tax On Investments & Savings Ireland

In this article, we’re going to discuss the 5 most common taxes that you’re likely to come across when making investment and savings decisions in Ireland.

We’ve also added the new Maximum Pension Contribution Calculator to the site, we hope that by highlighting the amount people can save on tax by maxing out their pension contributions, that we can encourage more and more people to do so.

The calculator also includes employer contributions in an effort to illustrate that employer contributions are not subject to the pension contribution thresholds set out by Revenue.
